2020 SYRUP RELEASED!

The season appears to be winding down as the weather warms and the trees break dormancy. We’ve made almost as much syrup as we can — though there might be a chance at a few more gallons this week — and we’ve started putting it in bottles. Golden Delicate, boiled on the equinox, is available in half-pints and pints. Amber Rich, from the first run of the season, is also available in half-pints and pints, as is a batch of Dark Robust, made during the first thunderstorm of spring.

We’ve begun including a batch number on the back labels of our bottles and we’ve created a page where you can match those numbers to a description of that batch. Besides our impression of flavors and taste, we’re including notes on the progress of the season, notable “firsts”, and other bits of interest. The effects of COVID-19 are being felt even in the hills of Vermont and there may be delays or interruptions of delivery services between here and there. So far, we are all healthy and we hope you are, too. Stay safe. Be nice. We’re all in this together.
